We'll be in London June 2-9, 2010, with our kids ages 8 and 10 and want to do a tour of Harry Potter film sites. Would prefer to do the London Walks version. But it is apparently only available on Sundays and we have plans to visit family friends on our only Sunday in London. Can anyone recommend another Harry Potter tour that's reasonably priced and good--in other words fun for kids and not a rip-off?
London Walks also offers The Harry Potter Film Locations Taxi Safari.
This is a private tour via licensed taxi of the Harry Potter film locations. You need to make arrangements for this tour by contacting the London Walks office.
More information at: London Walk's Harry Potter Page.
You'll need to scroll down to get information on the tour and the driver, Richard.
I have not taken this particular tour but I've taken more than a dozen of London Walks other tours and have never been disappointed.

Don't bother with the 9 3/4 at Kings Cross
Last year it was under construction and stuck in the back by the garbage dumpsters.
Total waste of time and effort to get there.
Oxford was better
