My parents and I are considering going to the Hard Rock Cafe while we are in London. Does anyone have comments? Where is it near? We would like both good and bad comments. Thanks!
If I am remembering correctly from 3 1/2 years ago, there is a Hard Rock Cafe and a Hard Rock Casino. We only stopped by so my husband could get a hat. You can get the addresses on the Hard Rock website and check a map to see where they are. If your time is limited I wouldn't bother.
We take the Picadilly line and get off at Greenpark, then walk down to the Hard Rock. The store is around the corner from the restruant. Since the London Hard Rock is the ORIGINAL it is an experience- the food is nothing special, but there are some good displays of neat Rock memorbilia.
The London Hard Rock Cafe is the "original" Hard Rock Cafe. It is located at 150 Old Park Lane, near Hyde Park. To get there you can take the tube (underground) using the Piccadilly line to Hyde Park Corner tube station then it's a four minute walk. As Toni said you can get off at the Green Park tube station..it's about a 8 minute walk from there. It's fun to visit.
Be prepared for extreme crowds no matter what time you go. Consider it as another tourist trap.
