I'm going to be in Oslo for a couple days in early July. I'm doing Norway in a Nutshell in a day out of Oslo and back to Oslo (yes, I know it'll be a LONG day). I have part of one day free, and another whole day free. I want to walk around Oslo a little, and I definitely want to see The Scream. I'd like suggestions for a scenic train ride out of Oslo and back again, if any are logical. Maybe leaving 8-9 am and returning 3-5 pm with a stopover for lunch, whatever, in the middle. I love mountain scenery and I can't imagine it'd be a lot better than in Norway. I'll have a Eurail Global Pass, so I'd prefer trains to buses. And since I'll be doing the NIAN trip anyway, the Oslo-Bergen route would be redundant. I don't know what else to consider. Thx in advance, as usual. Tom
