My husband I are going to spend 10 days in London in May. He really wants to try haggis while we are there - I know that's Scottish but was wondering if anyone knew where to get haggis in London? Thank you!
There used to be a place called Buchanans in Battersea that was mostly Scottish, but it's been years.
hi, i tried some in Scotland. just wanted to say been there ate that. you may want to look for a "scotch egg" too. they are somewhat tasty and different. its okay, but now im after Steak Pie happy trails.
My suggestion would be to use yelp.com or a similar restaurant review site. Restrict the area search to London and search for haggis. Using that search here's a place a few blocks from Victoria station and the offer different forms of haggis on their bar and main menus and it has generally good reviews. I've never eaten there but I've stayed in Belgravia and it is an are with good restaurants. http://www.yelp.com/biz/boisdale-of-belgravia-london-2#query:haggis The Albanach is listed there but the recent reviews seem less good, but this is only one source. You might look for a more specifically English - or Scottish if you can find one - review site as well. Hope this helps,
