We will be arriving in St. Peter Port, Guernsey in July. I have heard there is an excellent bus system, that circumnavigates the island, but I haven't been able to find any information about which stops we'd want to use to see things of interest.
Could anyone shed some light on the subject?

Have you checked out the visitguernsey.com website yet? It might be worth trying to find what you want to see and check the closest bus stop.
The bus service is the best value on the island! If you are flying into Guernsey you can take the bus into town and around the island. I just went for an afternoon ride around the island. There is quite a bit to see and do around the port and of course you should check out the neighboring islands.
I'd also recommend a trip to St Malo in Brittany, France.
Yes, the bus service gets you around the island easily. When I was there some years ago, I picked up a printed schedule at the bus company office near the main bus station at St Peter Port, and routes are also posted there. Or, check at Tourist Information in St Peter Port.
