Greenwich for King Tut

I have tickets for King Tut in April and will staying by the Russell Square tube stop and using an Oyster Card for zones 1 & 2. Will this cover the trip to Greenwich or do I need to

buy an extra ticket? Looks like the exhibit is outside those zones. Also if I get off at the Cutty Sark is the exhibit within walking distance or do I get back on the tube?
Any suggestions for seeing Greenwich? I plan to spend the better part of the day there.
Thanks!

Getting to Greenwich via the Underground/DLR is a long ride with lots of stops and a confusing transfer through a shopping mall (it is included in Zone 2). Instead take the regular mainline trains from Charing Cross, Waterloo East, or London Bridge Station. There are multiple trains every hour. All attractions are within walking distance. Be advised that the Cutty Sark was severely damaged in a fire last year during restoration work. There is still an exhibit you can visit on the docks with objects that were inside the ship; fortunately removed before the fire.

I have no idea where the King Tut exhibit is, but the best way to get to Greenwich is by boat. Take it all the way to the barrier, it's not that far and well worth it, and then get off in Greenwich on the return. If you travel by tube outside the zone be prepared to buy a ticket.
