I plan to meet my friend at Heathrow, but we're flying in on different airlines and probably will be in different terminals, a couple hours apart. Is there a good place where we could meet? We will be taking the National bus from Heathrow to Bath.

Lyn, the first thing you need to do is find out which teminal you both will be flying into. The Heathrow website has a link for "Which terminal" that you can use to find out this info if you know airline and city. If you advise which terminal you are each arriving into and who is arriving first, someone might be able to suggest a good location. Personally, if it were me, I would just plan to each go to Bath independently on arrival and meet at your hotel. That way, if someone's flight is delayed no one ends up stuck at the airport for hours. But I realize that is not everyone's preference.

I so much agree with Laura -- just take the bus to Bath, go to your hotel (or to an agreed-upon spot in Bath) and meet there. Much more relaxing and makes much better use of your time! Also Bath is so much prettier than any airport facility!!
