Golden Tours Day trip to Windsor/Bath/Stonehenge

Has anyone used Golden Tours out of London for the Windsor/Bath/Stonehenge day trip lately? Just wondering what you thought of the company and the quality of their tours/tour guides. Thanks.

We did a similar trip MANY years ago with a different company. I have to say that no matter the quality of the guides, you will probably feel too rushed. We did use Golden Tours a couple of times for other things and personally, I found their service to be of poor quality. Again, this was MANY years ago, and we didn't use them more than twice- one tour and one scheduled pickup for the airport- for which they were a no show resulting in a mad dash on the tube.

We have used Golden Tours, we thought the quality was good, we enjoyed it. I would recommend them. They give you some free time so you can look around on your own.

http://www.evanevanstours.co.uk/ http://www.premiumtours.co.uk/ http://www.goldentours.co.uk/ have similar large coach tour offerings at similar prices. Compare apples and apples, some tours do not include admission prices. Although hotel pickup is available, drop offs are all at Victoria Coach Station. You will spend more time on the coach than at the attractions, tardy tourists risk being left behind. Call the day before to make certain the tour has not been canceled due to lack of interest. International Friends uses smaller 16 passenger buses and offers a better experience.

Hello Lori,
We live in Mission Viejo. We have been to London twice in the past two years. We used Gray Line Tours for all our day trips, including London, Windsor, Stonhenge, Hampton Court, etc. Sometimes we had to go the the particular train station. Other times they picked us up right across from our Crowne Plaza Kensington. Great tour compoany. We have used them in Paris, Bruges, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, New York, etc. Elaine [email protected]
