We are spending a few days in Lund Sweden and would like to do a day trip to the Glass Country. Do you have any recomedations of tour companies or groups that may do this or how we could do this via train or bus?
Perhaps someone will be able to answer your question. We rented a car and drove to the glass country. Sweden is a very easy country to drive in.
Hi! I will be in Vaxjo, Sweden for just a couple of days in September. Can you please tell me where the glass country is (and what it is...art glass?) Thanks! Carolyn

IIRC, the Glass Country is just to the west of Stockholm. It's several glass factories producing crystal bowls, glasses, etc., in a cluster of little towns all within easy driving distance of each other. My dad is going to Sweden later this year, and if he has the time, I'm putting in a request for him to pick up something for me from one of the factories. His mom and dad went there back in 1972 (Grandpa was from Lulea, way north near Lapland; Dad's going up there to do some genealogy research after seeeing Stockholm), and Grandma had purchased a bowl that I now have in my collection.
