Planning on flying into Glasgow, but dont know a good way to get over to Belfast. Any suggestions? Please help, traveling tomorrow!! Yikes.
Check out this website which is ferries from Scotland to Belfast. http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/routes/belfast-stranraer/ I am pretty sure that you can take train to Stranraer where you catch the ferry.
Pam
Take the ferry from Stranraer to Larne [just outside Belfast] They have the slow boat and also the Sea Cat which cuts the travel time in half. Not sure of the cost but I have taken both numerous times with no issues.
I think from Larne you can probably get a bus into Belfast.
Kerry,
The Ferries are certainly one option but you could also look at budget flights. For example, EasyJet has two flights from Glasgow to Belfast on Monday 25 May. Unfortunately, due to the short time before flights, the price will be at least £110! If you could wait until Tuesady 26 May, the prices drop sharply to about £46.
Cheers!
