I am the maid of honor in a friends wedding and she is getting married in Glasgow Scottland. I am from Canada, and yet need to plan the hen party of a life time for in Glasgow! She has just moved there from Canada and so does not have many friends whom i could speak with about how to have a unique and fun time on a night out on the town in Glasgow! She is the artistic/hipster type who loves fashion and music. (she's a fashion designer). The party will be on a wednesday in late April. What to do what to do!!
You could always ask the tourist office for advice ... [email protected] The "east end" of Glasgow is probably the area for you .. quite bohemian ... lots of "arty" cafes etc. Roger
There is indeed a website for everything: http://www.glasgowhennight.com/
I would post this question on the Glasgow forum on TripAdvisor. There are lots of locals there who will make good suggestions. Maybe after checking out the above website, you could ask for local feedback on a site that catches your eye. Pam
Many hen nights in Glasgow will be in either Amsterdam or Tallin. Maybe you can get a bit of extra travel and a great weekend out at the same time?
So, Nigel, is Prague now out of favor? ; ) Pam
No Prague still gets the Easyjet crowd. I've seen several shows recently showing hen nights using the ferries... and the Easyjet crowd to Amsterdam...
Hi Natasha, if your friend likes music then how about a pop idol experience for something a bit different? The guys at Redseven (http://www.redsevenleisure.co.uk/glasgow-hen-weekend.php) offer groups of hens the opportunity to record their own songs in a recording studio.
Thanks for all of your help! We will definitely be staying in Glasgow as there are many out of towners coming in that we need to be around for.
