Getting to the Eurostar from Gatwick

I've never been in London before. But I'm flying into Gatwick and I need to get to the Eurostar (my destination is Paris). I'm so frustrated trying to figure this all out!!! How do I get there?? And are there any discounts on the Eurostar for travelers under 25? thanks

Kendal: the Eurostar is a direct London Paris train so you have to go to Waterloo to catch it. Take one of the many trains from Gatwick to Victoria (the 2 stop train saves you 1/2 off the express and only takes about 5 minutes more) BAA.com and then the tube to Waterloo £4. Check the price for your Eurostar trip at www.raileurope.com/us. Check around as there are discounts for buying from here or buying early. That trip should be about $80 with your Eurail pass.

Here is the best way to get from Gatwick to Waterloo International. At the airport buy a ticket to Waterloo East (10 GBP). Take a First Capital Connect train from Gatwick to London Bridge. Walk to the other side of the platform and take a Southeastern train to Waterloo East. Take the connecting walkway to Waterloo International. Trains run about every 15 minutes and the ride/walk takes about an hour.

Yes, there are discount fares on the Eurostar for persons under 26, but there is a range of prices depending upon how far in advance you book. Book ASAP at www.eurostar.com.
