Whar is best public transportation to go to Merrion Hotel from Dublin airport? A bus, any trains, cab?

Roger, I used a Taxi and felt that was the most convenient method. I can't recall what the cost was, but don't believe it was extreme. There are LOTS of Taxis servicing the airport, and the ride into Dublin was very enjoyable. The driver had lots of great information about the city! Happy travels!

i took the shuttle. it was right out front, an attendant helped me get the right tickets and verified where i should get off. i checked with the driver and he dropped me off two blocks from my hotel near the cathedral downtown. perfect.

One of the Aircoach bus routes has a stop at Merrion Square. See www.aircoach.ie.

Aircoach, Bus 787... if you want to save money. Or use a taxi, but it's more expensive.

Try emailing your hotel to see what they recommend. I emailed our hotel and they recommended the best way for us to get to the hotel we were staying in was by cab. They should be able to tell you if the bus goes anywhere near your hotel and how far you might have to walk.
