Getting from Victoria Station to Buckingham Palace

At the end of our month in Germany, my wife and I have one night in London and will be visiting Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, we forgot to look up how to get to Buckingham Palace on the Tube in our RS guide before leaving home (and didn't want to bring the Britain guide for 24 hours). Anyway, does anyone know which Tube line and stop we should use to get from Victoria Station to Buckingham Palace for the tour?

Thanks!

If you're right Frank, that will way too easy! :)

My only concern is making our appt. since we have to go through security and baggage at Gatwick then getgto Victoria and get checked in to our hotel before going to the palace. If it really is that close, it'll be a cinch. :-)

Just checked my Tube map and it looks like St James Park is one stop away from Victoria. Actually you can walk it. Enjoy your visit!

Just walk. It is literally around the corner from Victoria Station. Just go out of the station and walk north on Buckingham Palace Road. Cannot miss it.

Thanks. I knew we were close...just didn't realize it was that close. Last time we were there we came to the palace from a different angle.

It's about the same distance as walking from Reitz Union to the Swamp--assuming you cut through Weimer Hall.

Half a mile...give or take a few steps.

I should have said it's the same distance as walking from Reitz Union to the Swamp...and back. Still not that far. (I haven't been on campus for a long time.)

Buckingham Palace Rd flanks the west side of Victoria Station. Just take it a few blocks north and you'll be there.

Buckingham Palace Road turns into Buckingham Gate when you get up by the Palace.
