hi does anyone know how i can get to my hotel from the port in Dublin. i arrive on a Sunday evening (irish ferries) at around 730pm. should i reserve a taxi? the public transportation website is difficult to navigate. Steph

Hi - I traveled by ferry from Holyhead to Dublin last summer and although I usually prefer public transportation, I did take a taxi from the port to my hotel since I arrived in a downpour. No need to reserve - just get in the taxi queue - I only waited about 2 minutes. My hotel was in the Ballsbridge area, fairly close to the port, and I believe I paid around 10 euros for the taxi.
