We're flying into Gatwick, London, and need to make our way to Portsmouth and then on to Seaford in about four days. Do we have to rent a car? Should we stop first in Bath? Thank you!

There is frequent train service between London and Portsmouth and between Portsmouth and Seaford. See the Journey Planner at www.nationalrail.co.uk.
There is also frequent train service between London and Bath.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that there is also frequent train service from Gatwick to Portsmouth.
