Gatwick to London for 6

We are a family of 6 adults arriving Gatwick at 9am. We are staying at the Hilton Kensington. Holland Park stop. What is the best and most economical way to get from Gatwick to our hotel? Thanks.

Head over to the London transport website:
www.tfl.gov.uk

At the journey planner simply type "Gatwick Airport" in the from box and type "Hilton Kensington", and it will give you the most direct route using all forms of public transport.
In terms of cost the Gatwick Express offers a group rate, for more details head here:

I took the EasyBus shuttle bus, which is the least expensive especially if you book in advance, as prices increase with each seat reserved. The only issue is whether or not the shuttle bus drops you off in a place where you wish to be.

A couple of weeks ago my daughter and I took the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station and then the tube to our hotel. The Gatwick Express was a little more than Easy Bus but it was a quick and enjoyable ride. You can get on the Gatwick Express and buy your ticket on the train at no extra cost. A couple of days later we took Easybus to Luton Airport for a day trip to Paris and it was an enjoyable ride too. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Like the Gatwick Express, Southern Railways has an up-to-4-for-the-price-of-2 special. It's called GroupSave and it's cheaper than the GEX deal. You have to travel off peak (after 09:30), but by the time you go through immigration/passport control and retrieve your luggage, you'll qualify. Travel time from Gatwick to Victoria will be only about ten minutes slower than the GEX.
