we are driving for 2 weeks. What seems to be the most common gas station in Ireland? Do any have prepaid cards so that we do not have to do a credit charge each time we fill up? THANKS

You could just pay cash when you fill up. You won't have to do it often, since cars get much better mileage there than they do here. In a week's trip, starting with a full tank, I filled the car once (and topped it off before returning it).

We had the same experience as Nancy did. We filled up once paying cash and then topped it off by the airport before turning it in.
