During my four full days in Cardiff, I plan to spend one day exploring Cardiff and one day going by train to Bath. This leaves me with two days. I'll use public transportation and Swansea and Tenby look accessible. How about St. David's? Too far? Any other ideas?- I'll have two weeks in London after that to see things in the south east. I don't know how I could travel without the advice of you people, but probably not as well.
Not much in Tenby, A lot of folks don't thing too much of Swansea, St Davids is way the heck and gone and not worth a day.
How about Pembroke? Most people really like it.
I'd assume Caerphilly is on the schedule somewhere?
Also the harbor tour at Cardiff is pretty darn good if you enjoy that kind of stuff.
There are some slate mines near Cardiff that do tours and I think there is an outdoor "rural life" museum (not certain about that one). Cardiff is a great city for shopping. Swansea has a good Christmas Market, but I don'think anything else worth seeing.
