We're staying for 10 days in London in an apartment that has no internet access. I'm brining my laptop and would like to know if anyone has any tips for free wireless internet access that I can use with it. Maybe I can connect from our apartment to a wireless signal, but I doubt it. I can also use an internet cafe, but I'd like to use my laptop.
Any tips or experiences? Thanks!

McDonald's and Starbucks offers 30 minutes of free WiFi with a purchase. Also the riverside walk along the Thames from the London Eye to the National Theatre complex has free WiFi sponsored by the local chamber of commerce.
