Four nights in Cornwall-what else?

I am planning to spend four nights in Cornwall. We want to go to St. Ives for sure-what else should we do in the area? I appreciate anyone sharing their experiences! I am taking my mom, she has never been to Europe. I want to show her the most amazing time possible. Mahalo in advance!

My wife and I spent four nights in Cornwall a few years ago and had a great time. Lands End is a kick, St Ives is a fun town to walk around in, the Minick Theatre is a real good experience (we had to have the manager ask over the PA system at intermission if we could ride back to Penzance with someone, we did and that was fun.), St Michael's Mount is interesting and the little seashore town of Mousehole was great. If it's raining there is a couple good art galleries, the Penlee in Penzance and the Tate in St Ives. We used the train from Bath and even that was fun. You and your mother will enjoy Cornwall, have a fantastic time.

A few other super spots: Men-en-Tol and Merry Maidens (prehistoric holed stone and a lovely stone circle), Zennor, Tintagel, Restormel Castle, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Tintagel was beautiful. We were lucky to be there on a sunny day. We enjoyed Clovely, even though others say it is so touristy. We spent a night in a medieval farm house called Trevigue. It was a great place to stay and right on the coast. It is a working farm. Their website is.....http://www.cornwall-online.co.uk/trevigue/Welcome.html

We just got back from Cornwall and the Minack Theater is a must! It was gorgeous and I caught my eyes wondering to watch the Atlantic Ocean hitting the shore.

Hi,

I lived in Cornwall for a couple of years and my favorites are Tintagel, Restormel Castle and the Hurlers. The Hurlers are stone circles from the Bronze Age and are very cool. Restormel Castle is one of my favorite places in the whole world (and I consider myself well traveled!) You will enjoy Cornwall--I miss it terribly!
