flying out of Copenhagen mid-morning-sleep in Malmo?

We will be flying out of Copenhagen on a mid-morning flight, and I'm wondering if it is a good idea to sleep the night before in Malmo--maybe less expensive than Copenhagen? How long is the train trip from Malmo to the Copenhagen airport?

The train ride from Malmö Central Station to Copenhagen Airport is 22 minutes and direct. Departure from Malmö every 20 minutes at 02, 22 and 42 minutes past the hour, all day.
