There's been a lot of discussion on these boards about using flat irons in Europe. I just returned from England where I used a cheap Conair flat iron that I purchased at a grocery store before my trip. It worked great! It was dual voltage and obviously we used an outlet adaptor and we didn't have any problems. We used it every day. So they can work!
Well, you were luckier than I am. My Conair worked, but wasn't the same temperature there as it was here... I'm glad you had no problems!
Oh, really, what's with you women! The Shakers invented the first permanent press fabrics in the 1800's. (hold your fire...just joking...but they really did invent it then)
I say wrinkles are beautiful and irons are for golf.
You'd think I'd know by now to stay out of women's discussions! They're generally way over my head.
Patrick, it's a flat iron for your hair...
