I'm planning my first trip to England and Ireland this October! There are so many choices for hostels, I thought I'd ask for suggestions for great places to stay. I'll be going to London and Ireland (Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Killarney, Galway). Looking for hostels (or maybe a guest house?). I don't want a party hostel, but still want to be centrally located. Some good ones Ive heard about are through YHA/HI or Astor for London.
Anyone stayed in a place they really liked??

I stayed there in Dublin: http://maplehotel.com/ It is definetly basic but that is how I travel. The hotel is not new or anything special. But it was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly...it is the main reason why I liked it. I noticed many other budget places on that road or area.
I am out early in the morning and I come back late at night. I thought it was conveniently located....I took the bus from the Airport and there was a stop 1 minute from the Hotel. Did the same thing when I left. I took the hop on hop off bus tour...and there was a stop less than 5 min. away too. Have a wonderful trip!
