Does anyone know what is going on mid July in the Malahide/Dublin area. I tried to book a B & B there for the week and was told by the person who resonded that it would be difficult since there was a festival in the area then. We are there July 16-20. Any clues on what we might see/want to avoid?

Any ideas where I might find this info since no one has posted? I've tried many searches for festivals in Dublin in July and so far no info. I'm about to call a B & B just to ask. Thanks for any help.

I looked in the Appendix section of "Rick Steves Ireland 2007" and there is an Arts Festival in Galway. Is it possible that people are staying in Dublin and then traveling to Galway for the festival? Here are a couple of websites to check out:

Thanks Hilary, I checked those and the Galway art festival looks too far away to have all the Dublin area B & Bs booked. I have found many openings closer to Galway, so I don't think that's it, but thanks.
