Hi all! We are leaving this coming Sunday for our European adventure and we are SO EXCITED! I had a question....we planned on staying in Galway for a few days and taking a day trip to Inishmore. I saw I could book the ferry that takes us there online. They are offering 10% off online. Any thoughts on if I should buy now or wait until we get there? We have our travel date to Inishmore set in stone, that is why I was thinking I could purchase ahead of time and get the 10% off. Thoughts are welcome:) Thanks!
My thought would be to wait until you are there. I say that because of Mother Nature. Never know what the actual weather will be until you arrive. Wouldn't want you to purchase a ticket and then discover the ferry wasn't running. Just my personal opinion. Have a fantastic trip and yes, Eire is THAT green!
You could always book online once you arrive in Ireland and see what your weather day will be like, unless the discount involves booking so many days ahead. But Claudia is right - weather can keep the ferry from running all together. Will you have a car? If you could get there, you might also consider seeing what the ferry from Doolin would cost. www.doolin2aranferries.ie
