Is it possible to leave a car at the Portsmouth ferry dock and walk on the ferry to the Isle of Wight, returning the next day? Taking a car on the ferry is quite expensive.

Hi Susan,
There is a foot passenger ferry that leaves from The Hard at Portsmouth. There is a large car park nearby.
