Ferry from Rosyth to Zeebrugge

My husband and I will be taking a ferry from Rosyth, on the north shore of the Firth of Forth, to Zeebrugge in Belgium, in early October. We're hoping that the North Sea will be tranquil at this time of year. Does anyone have experience with this particular crossing, or any advice other than to carry Dramamine?

im sorry, i don't have advice but i do have a question. i tried to do that exact same thing last summer but i had a hard time making reservations. how did you do it?
