Favorite B&Bs you want to go back to!

We are trying to pin down our plans for 13 days in south Ireland in late april/early may, and I would really like to know about any favorite B&Bs that you would reccommend to us. It will be 4 of us, myself, my wife, and my parents, (late 60s). We will be spending two nights each in Kilkenny, kinsale, kenmare, dingle, one night in the doolin area, two/three nights in the connemara area, two nights north of Dublin, and the home. Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks for all the help! It sure makes planning a trip much easier.

We have enjoyed stays at Kilkenny - Butler House (it was the dowager house for the castle) ..........Kenmare - Tahila Cove.........Connemara - Quay House........................... For our upcoming trip, after much research, I have booked Castlewood House in Dingle, Ballynahinch Castle in Connemara, near Clifden ( a treat, but the price was reasonable), D hotel in Drogheda ( near New Grange). We consider our accommodation part of the experience, not just a place to sleep. We choose places with a view and either a restaurant on site or walkable pubs nearby.........Hope this helps.

Many recommends posted on the RS Graffiti Wall under Heroic B&B Friendliness. Might search there if you haven't already.

We were in Ireland in September 2011. In Dingle, Emlaugh Lodge highly recommended. Maggie Gallagher is a fun Donegal girl that runs the place. It is clean and modern and the breakfasts were outstanding. It is right on the harbour. In Doolin, you will find no better I think, than Daly's B and B. Susan and her husband and their dog, George had us feeling like we had known them for years, 20 minutes after we met. It was wonderful to get to her place and be invited to sit in her living room, with a peat fire burning and a nip of Irish whisky. Breakfast was in the most wonderful sunroom and was absolutly delicious.
Both place highly recommended, and if we were going back tomorrow I would not even look at different places.

Check out the Fisherman's Rest B&B in Doolin. It's right behind O'Connor's Pub - the holy grail of trad music in Ireland. You'll find it at: http://www.accommodationdoolin.com. Hosts, Danny and Mairead and their kids are delightful. The glassed-in dining room also has great views from nearly nook and table. There are also two or three other pubs in Doolin, all featuring trad music, especially during the summer. In my experience, the tiny village of Leenane in Connemara is in the most beautiful location in Ireland. It's right at the end of the country's only fjord at the tip of Killary Harbor and is nestled between three mountain ranges. A nice accommodation there is "Emoclew" B&B. That's "Welcome" spelled backwards! It's on a small rise just off the harbor and a two-minute walk into the village.

Jeff, I loved the Cloisters B&B in Kinsale. Perfect location with parking lot and wonderful owners. They made my stay even better! In Dingle, I stayed at the Hideout Hostel in a private room. Very reasonable price and great location.

In Kenmare we were totally at home at Forgefield house. Absolutely gorgeous rooms, fabulous choices at breakfast, yummy food. The owner even let us do a load of wash. Cant say enough nice things about it. Daly's house in Doolin, amazing! The White cottages in Skerries north of Dublin. Easy to catch a train into Dublin. Right on the ocean complete with seals. Close to restaurants in a cute town! Check them out online. All wonderful in many ways!
