Family friendly hotel in Dublin that won't break the bank?

I'm headed to Ireland soon, and will spend most of our time in Cork with friends, but will have a weekend in Dublin. Does anyone know of a decent hotel in Dublin that might have a "family room" that could accommodate our family of 5?

Finding hotel rooms that big in Dublin is hard. We were there last summer with 2 families, 11 people altogether. We rented two townhomes through Brookman Townhomes, their website is www.brookman.ie. They were running a special, we paid 110 euro for a 3br/2 1/2 bath townhouse (we got 2, we didn't all cram in the one!). It's in a neighborhood that's about a 10 minute bus ride from city center. Nice residential area, lots of shops in walking distance, the manager sets you up with a "welcome kit" that has bread, jelly, butter, enough to set you up for breakfast for the first day. Free internet, too.

While I'm on here, I'd also suggest getting family cards for the buses for each day you're there. It's 10 euro, covers 2 adults and 4 kids under 16. You pick them up at most stores, like Spar.

Heidi,

Everytime I go to Dublin, I stay at the Cassidy's Hotel on Upper O'Connell street. I have found it to be very reasonably priced (all things considered.) It's close enough to all the major sites, but yet far away from all the touristy noise at night. There is also a corner store a block away. You'll love Dublin, it's my favorite city!

Slainte!
