My daughter and her family (3 kids) recently moved to Scotland for a year as part of a teacher exchange program. Her husband will be attending a conference in London next month and would like to bring them along. Can anyone recommend a good B&B on the outskirts of central London with good access to the Tube or train into central London?

Bob, being on the outskirts of London won't be fun and the cost of transport to and from will be expensive. A nice hotel (B&B type) is the Ridgemount, reasonably priced for London. Close to the British Museum and all transportation.

The Charlotte Guest House is in West Hampstead. Rates are reasonable.
