Explorer Days London day trips

I would like to take and plan for the London Walks Explorer trip to Blenheim Palace but the web site offer no available dates or even an idea of the days they would run. We only have two days mon and tues to go in May. Has anyone been and/or know what days these run? Thank you

Hi Melanie,
You will probably have to wait until their summer schedule comes out.

I've been on a number of the Explorer Days (Brighton, Oxford, Rye, Salisbury and Stonehenge, Cotswolds, etc.). In the summer, there typically is an explorer day each day. Some of the most popular (like Stonehenge) are offered on the same day each week, while others rotate. I have not been on the Blenheim Palace walk but I don't recall it being one of the ones that they run every week but I may be wrong or things might have changed. You could try sending them an inquiry with your dates.

The day trips are usually quite good.

In 2007 London Walks Explorer trip to Blenheim Palace was only on Saturdays and they only had three May 19, August 4 and Oct 27. You could do it so easy on your own. Take the train to Oxford (from Paddington Station), then in Oxford take the Gloucester Green bus no. 20, one leaves every twelve minutes. Evans Evans tour company goes to Blenheim, but not on Mondays and Tuesdays, Greyline Tour Company goes also, but not sure if they go on Mon. or Tuesday. If I were you I would go on my own, so simple to do. Have a good trip.
