Evan Evans Tours?

My husband has his heart set on seeing both Stonehenge and Oxford during our short stay in London (five days with one day an arrival day) and we found what he feels is the perfect tour with Evan Evans Tours. However, it is difficult to find reviews of the specific tour--Windsor Castle, Oxford, and Stonehenge at Sunset--as the most popular tour is Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath. I feel that Bath is too far away and would require too much time on the bus, so even though that's the one place I want to see outside of London, it will have to wait for a future trip (reviews of the Bath inclusive trip said things like 'up to six hours total on a bus'--yeah, no, I don't want to do that). i was wondering if anyone has either taken a tour with Evan Evans and thus knows what the 'on the bus off the bus' ratio is like, or even better, can tell me about the reality of seeing both Stonehenge and Oxford on the same day (we don't really care about Windsor, it is simply included on the tour).

note: the reason he likes the evan evans tour so much is because it promises a private, inner circle 'viewing' of stonehenge. i'm actually pagan--he's catholic--and it is even past my understanding why he wants to do this so very badly, but i know that he does, and i'd like to make it happen for him. after all, he's crossing an ocean for a very long trip that i kind of told him he was going on! thanks in advance!

Yes it is possible to see Stonehenge and Oxford on the same day...the distance between them is 47 miles.
We have taken a Evan Evans Tour which was very nice, they give you enough time at each place. I would recommend you going on the tour.

We have used Evans Evans and Frames Rickards Tours for day trips in the past. They are good (not great) companies. Avoid Golden Tours- unreliable in my experience. You get what they say- easy transport from place to place- but on their timeline. The guides are competent and the coaches (buses) comfortable.

Did the Evans Evans tour to Windsor, Stonehenge & Bath a couple of years ago. There was no "Private" tour, but you did get right round the stones and had plenty of time to see the site.
