Can anyone share their experiences about the single supplements on the 7-day Lonon ETBD tour? What size/type of a room does one get when paying this single supplement? Is it a double en-suite, so that the supplement covers the fact that one person is paying the cost of the room normally shared by two? Or is it a much smaller, single room?
Thanks,
Derek
Why don't you call/email ETBD and ask? You'll get the correct answer.
I paid the single supplement for the 7-day Rome tour. The room was strictly single en-suite. It was a nice room and I didn't mind paying the single supplement. You decide if the extra cost is worth it to you.
My experience with "single" rooms in Europe is that sometimes the room has a single bed and sometimes the bed is a double. Hotel vary, and some don't have singles with the twin-bed size bed. Either works for me.
The only time I've paid a single supplement on a tour, I had the exact same en suite double room as my parents did.
