We are planning a trip to England next spring/summer. We are looking for reputable horse tours in the area of Devon...anyone have any experience or references?
Thanks
Don't know about Devon, but if you're really into horses then the place to go is the town of Newmarket, just east of Cambridge. The Nat'l Stud is there and gives daily tours.... best in the spring when you can see the most foals. Also in the town is the Nat'l Horse Racing Museum. The UK has about 60 racecourses and it's great fun going to the races.
Check the web. A number of the high end hotels on the moors go for the out door stuff, with arranged fishing, horse riding etc.
Thanks for the advice...any knowledge of equestrian activities in Italy? We are heading there too for a grand tour!
