Traveling by bus and coming from Dingle. Wondering about staying 2 nights in Ennis and 2 in Galway or doing all nights in Galway.

I'd do two in each. That way you get the experience of a smaller town and a larger city.

Ennis and Galway are only 43 miles apart. You might want to choose a different place for your second choice.

I'd skip Ennis and do 2 nights in Lahinch (west of Ennis, on the coast) and then 2 nights in Galway.

Hi, I really liked Galway. We stayed at the Jolly Inn right on the riverbank and slept with the windows open and the sound of water flowing down to the Bay all night, just wonderful. Early in the morning massive swans would swoop down and along the riverbanks right outside the window.
The little shopping (High) street close by has cute shope, pubs and stores for your pleasure. If you're into Sterling Silver there was a shop there that will knock your eyes out! It's a cute place.
