I will be traveling with my wife and son in the North Lake District and am looking for a suggestion for a kid friendly hotel or B&B. Any suggestions?

We stayed in Keswick at The Grange B&B. I spent quite a lot of time researching where to stay. Some B&B's are row houses on busy streets. The Grange is very nice and situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the town. It has beautiful views, great breakfast, and the owners are very helpful. Keswick is a good place to stay if you want to hike--we did the Catbells hike. That said, when we return I think we will stay in the remote village of Hawkshead--Beatrix Potter country. Another town that we liked was Grasmere.
