Can anyone tell my anything about this hotel? The e-mail listed in the Great Britain guide bounced back as undeliverable.

I would try calling them. Sometimes email addresses can change, or be printed incorrectly. The phone is still the best way to do business, in my opinion. For hotel reviews, check tripadvisor.com.
