Edinburgh to Dublin via RyanAir

We all know that RyanAir's locations aren't always "in" the place of travel (e.g., Paris=Beauvais). We are looking at a flight out of Edinburgh that leaves at 8 a.m. Has anyone used the airport RyanAir flies out of ("Edinburgh") and, if so, is it reasonable to get from town to the airport (2-3 hrs. in advance) to make an 8 a.m. departure?

We did that exact flight last August. Left our hotel in Edinburgh and were returning our rental car at the airport about 45 minutes later. You'll have no problem, 2-3 hours is way more than enough time.
