I have an opportunity to go to Edinburgh between Jan. and March. I can't seem to find good information on weather - need to know temperature and rain days. Will March be much warmer than earlier?
Thanks
Go to: http://weather.uk.msn.com/local.aspx?wealocations=wc:UKXX0052.
Look at the bottom and it gives historic data.
Thanks so much, John. It seems any winter month is about the same - chilly and wet!

Carole,
Yep, that's Scotland in the Winter! It does make it very atmospheric, however. Take the opportunity, it will be well worth it. So many of the sights are indoors anyways.
In truth it doesn't seem like Scottish really varies that much. Certainly not as much as it does in place like Wisconsin! Layers and Goretex will see you through. What you want to look at is hours of sunlight. Of course, once we're past the winter solstice it continually improving, but it mighty dark in Scotland in the winter. Pam
