I am traveling to Edinburgh for 2 days in July. I will be coming from Dublin. I will have euros in Dublin. Will I have problems with the euros in Edinburgh or will I have to exchange the euros for pounds? Thanks for any suggestions.

Susan, You might pay a visit to one of the Banks when you arrive in Edinburgh to exchange the Euro's. You could probably also use the Exchange office at the airport, but the rates would not be good. If you only have a small amount of Euro's, I'd consider keeping them for the next trip.

Thanks for the response. With the rate of exchange, the euros & pounds are becoming more valuable than the dollar so I think that your are right! Susan

You'll need pounds in Edinburgh. Spend down the euros before you get there.

Actually Nigel, in some places in Naples you can use the Mexican peso!
