Hi. I'm going to be in Edinburgh on Nov. 21st and 22nd and am looking for some recommendations for hotels. Preferably, $250 or less a night. The hotel I have on my current (unbooked) itinerary is The Hudson Hotel. Has anyone ever stayed here before?

I was there many years ago and stayed at a B&B in town - we used the touist info buearo - but I didnt know about Rick Steves way back then. If his places are booked - try these great B&B they have - easy to walk in to the TI and ask about the various options when you arrive.

Check out the Royal Britian. It is right across the street from the train station. Great location- right on Princes St. and just a short walk to the Royal Mile.
