Eating in Glasgow and Edingburgh

Here's a great link for checking out restaurants in Scotland.http://eatscotland.visitscotland.com/default.aspx There's a budget option. I think that the Mussel Inn in New Town was not bad. Fishers, on the other hand was expensive--tasty (Arbroath Smokies)--but expensive. Look for curry places as they can be less expensive.

Check out the chinese resturants in both cities. Strange- but they do great chinese there! There is a chinese buffet on the bridge near Waverly train station in Edinburgh.
