Two nights, single rm, easily located. The hotel is newly completely renovated, very clean, very organized, with pleasant desk personnel. The bed is about the size of my double bed at home. The bathroom size is adequate for average size (in girth) people. Good shower, tiny sink, good plumbing with plenty of hot water. The bed is very comfortable; I have a double-glazed window and plenty of light for reading. The heater (radiator-type) works. Minuses: many things that are normally included in a hotel room rental are CHARGED EXTRA at EasyHotel. TV remote, luggage storage (even for a few hours), a top sheet, extra towel (I got two large, fluffy ones), wi-fi, etc. There is no place for my things, even tho the room is large enough for some sort of luggage rack. The room has 5 electrical outlets and 3 hooks for hanging things. We're talking bare-bones here. The newness and cleanliness make up for quite a lot, but do expect to bring your own water glass. I'll be staying at the sister hotel at Victoria in a couple of weeks and will write about that one, too. It's not quite so new, and I won't have a window.
Swan, thank for the info. What did the room cost per night. Some of the rates I've seen were very low and then some were quite a bit higher then having to pay for the extras. If you are only in your room to sleep this would work. I think I would request a window.
Thanks again for sharing.
Swan, we will be looking forward to hearing about the one at Victoria. Keep traveling.
Thanks for posting this as I will be staying at the Paddington Easyhotel and the Earls Ct Easyhotel in December. Im doing the Earls Ct for 6 nights and the last night will be in Paddington, since I want to explore that area on my last day and then get the Heathrow Connect to the airport.
How far of a walk is the hotel from the Paddington station?
If anyone is interested in prices, I got a rate of 29 Pounds a night for the Paddington, and Earls Ct was 25 Pounds a night, all VAT included.
I paid 25£ a night, but for one night in October I will pay 39£. My night at Victoria next week will be 39£. Prices seem to vary. The EasyHotel at Paddington is about a 5-10 min walk from the station. Walk out the front of the station, go left on Praed 1-2 blocks and turn rt on Norfolk Place. The front of the hotel is bright orange, of course, so it's easy to spot. The No. 15 double-decker bus on Praed will take you across town to St. Paul's and the Tower of London.
Thank you so much Swan! Maps never tell you stuff as well as someone who has been there can...
