Has anyone recently taken the EasyBus from London to Stansted? If I miss my bus (buying advance tickets online), can I get on the next bus? How hard is it to find the bus stop on Baker Street? Any downsides to using the bus? Thanks, Karyn
You're allowed to travel on easyjet buses up to an hour before and after your booked departure time...but only if there are seats available. If they have enough walk-up business to fill the next bus, you're out of luck, and you won't get a refund. Your only option then would be to pay the higher walkup price for the next run. You can only cancel your ticket up to a day before your trip, and you'll only be given a credit towards another purchase.* If you do take the bus, make sure you time your arrival for AT LEAST two hours before your plane departure, to account for any bus delays. Anytime I've taken a bus to/from Stansted or Luton, I always seem to get caught in some sort of traffic jam, so I take the train now....more expensive, but far less chance of delays.
I am with Norm on this one[INVALID]I would take the Stansted Express train out of either Liverpool St. or Tottenham Hale depending on where you are staying.
