Earl's Court or Paddington??

Hi all!! I'm trying to decide where to stay in London! I'm gonna stay in an easyhotel because my budget is really tight and they cost so little (I'm aware of the minimum size and lack of services, don't worry). I just have to decide which easyhotel I'll stay in! I'm between the one in Earl's Court and the one in Paddington... which area would you chose and why??
Thanks!!

Earl's Court. Pleasanter, more amenities. More geared toward tourists than the Paddington area.

I would choose Earl's Court over Paddington, but the easyhotels in South Kensington and Victoria are more centrally located than either of those locations. (I have never stayed at an easyhotel, so I can't say if the hotels themselves are newer or better in one location versus another).

Earls Court is probably more "residential", nothing for a tourist within walking distance, except possibly Holland park. Need to take a tube to everywhere. Advantage is on both the Piccadilly and district lines so can get in to West End etc easily. Paddington is much more "inexpensive tourist hotel" oriented, can probably walk to Hyde park and Oxford street. Convenient for Paddington station (Heathrow and the west), and also on a pretty good tube - but need to change to get to Piccadilly circus area Neither are glamourous areas

Purpose of your trip? How long are you there? If it's sight-seeing and for just a short time, I'd recommend Paddington because you cut off the time it takes to get to the major sightseeing stuff. There are both metro and bus lines in the area. But, a few more details might help us give you better guidence.
