Will be driving a rental car from Dublin to Donegal. Is there anything worth stopping and seeing between Dublin and Donegal?

When we drove that route in April we included stops at New Grange, Trim Castle, Hill of Tara, Monasterboice, Kells, Ennis, and a neolithic cemetery on Boa Island. We stayed the first two nights at the D hotel in Drogheda and then drove to Donegal town for nights 3-7.
