My husband and I are going to be in Ireland next month for a few days, and my husband really wants to take a day trip up to Belfast. We are planning to rent a car for the day and I was wondering if it is even possible to get from Dublin to Belfast while driving the majority of the way along the Antrim Coast Road?

The Antrim Coast is actually north of Belfast, so you wouldn't be traveling along that coast from Dublin to Belfast. That being said, if you're not in a hurry, there will most likely be smaller roads along the coast that will get you where you want to go. The sea views are amazing.
