Dublin Pass Worthwhile?

We're going to be in Dublin for three days at the end of our trip. Is the Dublin Pass worthwhile? Does it really save time and money? We're probably not going to see all "145 attractions" in the time we're there.

Look closely at what the pass covers, and find out what the admission prices are on the things you actually want to see. When I last did the math, there wasn't enough there that I wanted to do to justify the price. You don't want to find yourself rushing around from place to place, trying to get your money's worth.

Hi-I'm not sure if it's the same pass as we bought and if it would be worth it for you, but it was for us. We got off plane and went to the information desk and found out a pass would save us sooo much money on just bus fare into the city alone, as we are a family of 4. I suggest you go and inquire when you get there, if possible. The people are friendly and helpful.
Good luck-Sarah

I disagree with it saving money on the bus -- family passes on the Dublin buses are only 10 euro/day, and you can buy single passes for 6 euro/day.

Do your research, figure out what it would cost either way. For us, with a family of 4, using the family bus passes and the family rates for admission to sites (which was usually only a euro or 2 more than 2 adult admissions), was the better way to go.
