That said, my wife and I loved Trinity College and the Book of Kells exhibit there, Kilmainhaim Gaol (if you're into Irish history and the revolt against England), and National Museum. The Musical Pub Crawl is an accessible introduction to traditional Irish music.

Thanks so much for your suggestions. I have been reading about some of those sites and they sound like they would interest us. I was wondering about some sites outside of the city as well, not to far out as we don't have much time.
